Ideas are better in conversation

Building something hard to ignore?

I scout for Juniper VC and spend time around founders, investors, and people turning technical insight into new companies. If you are working on something ambitious—or simply thinking seriously about the startup world—my door is open.

Three good reasons
to write to me.

This is intentionally broader than deal flow. Interesting companies, honest questions, contrarian theses, and unfinished ideas are all valid starting points.

Tell me what you are building.

Especially if it is technically difficult, too early for a neat category, or rooted in deep tech, biology, manufacturing, or scientific infrastructure. A concise, imperfect note is welcome.

I spend a lot of time at events and in conversations around startups and investment. I’m always open to discussing emerging sectors, founder problems, investment theses, or useful introductions.

Ask about the ideas on my side of the table.

I also develop entrepreneurial ideas of my own, often where computation, biology, and neurotechnology overlap. If that is territory you invest in or want to build within, I would be glad to talk.

Discuss my venture ideas

I like ideas with technical depth and real-world weight.

I am especially drawn to companies whose advantage comes from difficult science, engineering, or domain knowledge—not only distribution. The category can be unclear; the underlying insight should not be.

Not every useful meeting needs to be a pitch.

I regularly attend gatherings with founders and investors because the informal conversations are often more revealing than the polished ones. I’m happy to compare sector notes, discuss how investors see a market, hear what is difficult about building, or make an introduction when there is a genuine fit.

If you see me at an event, come and say hello. If not, an email works just as well.

Send the messy version.
A paragraph is enough.

Scouting conversations are informal and do not imply review, endorsement, or investment by Juniper VC.
